Assembly Operative

On behalf of one of our clients based in Radcliffe, Kinetic Recruitment Services are looking to recruit an Assembly Operative on a permanent basis. The company specialise in the manufacturing of industrial sensors and due to high demand and continuous increase in sales are looking for permanent Production Technicians / Electrical Assemblers. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is looking for a long-term career with progression and a lot of training! Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm but candidates must be flexible. The role of Assembly Operative / Production Technician includes; * Testing all products throughout the manufacturing process * Soldering and various gluing and crimping techniques * The use of grinders, polishers, tube cutters and blasting equipment * Electronic sub assembly of wiring looms and sensor elements * Preparation of cables, sub-assembly of sensor plugs, sockets and connecting head * The use of various hand tools such as tig, plasma, and discharge welders The Assembly operative / Production Technicians must have: * A positive can-do and hands on attitude to work * Soldering experience and experience with hand tools * Must be self-motivated * Excellent communication skills written and oral * Minimum 1 years experience within assembly or electrical manufacturing role OR Minimum of 5 grade C or above GCSE qualification including Maths and English.
