Engineering and Manufacturing Recruitment specialist’s, Kinetic plc has entered the ‘Gtr Manchester Chamber of Commerce 2010 Innovation Award’. The groundbreaking ‘Innovation Award’ has been launched to celebrate some of Gtr Manchester’s most forward-thinking and dynamic businesses. The award is being spear-headed by the Chamber’s current President, Dr. Moneeb Awan.

Kinetic’s entry was instigated due to innovation being embraced across all business functions within the organisation. As such, innovation has been the backbone of ensuring that the company maintains competitive advantage in the highly populated industry of Recruitment. Furthermore, Kinetic’s commitment to innovation ensures that its customers receive real added value.

Integral to driving and structuring this innovative approach is adherence to implementing the Balanced Scorecard business tool. This was used initially for driving internal continuous improvement and incubating innovation; with the overall goal being to enhance efficiencies and eliminate waste. Following success in achieving this, the Balanced Scorecard tool was then expanded externally to customers.

Utilising the Balanced Scorecard innovatively gives everyone engaged in the business clearly defined and measurable goals across a multitude of areas, including CRM, Operations, H.R and financial results, as well as ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, increased business retention and new business development.

Evidence of Kinetic’s innovative related success comes in various forms:

• Winning numerous awards, including the British Quality Foundation Excellence Award (in three disciplines).
• Development of three new profitable businesses over five years as a result of employee entrepreneurship and market analysis.
• In-house development of bespoke web enabled CRM technology to fully integrate with customers; to drive efficiencies and provide real time data for service delivery management and reporting / analysis.
