Management Accountant

Kinetic Recruitment are currently resourcing for a Management Accountant for a global manufacturing business based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The role of Management Accountant will be on a permanent contract, full time, with some travel involved to other sites occasionally within the UK. As Management Accountant your role will be to assist the UK Operations Finance Controller in delivering business objectives. This will be carried out through; - Preparation of management accounts - Preparation of budgets - Regular forecasts - Produce weekly and monthly operational data - Ad-hoc analysis and activities - Record and report actual results as part of month end close - Assist with the production of monthly outlooks, quarterly forecasts, and budget - Obtain working knowledge of all ongoing R&D projects - Assist with the annual R&D tax credit submission Skills and Experience; - CIMA and/or ACCA qualification (or working towards) - Experience within a manufacturing/ engineering company doing a similar role - Strong analytical skills - Team player with the ability to work alone unsupervised An attractive salary and benefits package is on offer for the right candidate.
