Maintenance Electrician

We are looking for an experienced JIB Gold Card Maintenance & Testing Electrician to carry our electrical maintenance and testing on transport infrastructure equipment. The work is on DAYS in the main, working Monday to Friday, paying basic of £45,000 p.a. + VAN. **PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PERMANENT POSITION & HAVE READ THE FULL ADVERT BELOW** This is a PERMANENT PAYE role paying a basic of circa £45,000 per annum (Based on 40 hours in the day Monday to Friday) + PREMIUMS WHEN WORK OUTSIDE OF 6am-6pm (SEE BELOW) Rates range from £21.20-£42.40/hr (depending on whether working in the week, weekends or nights) + VAN + OVERTIME payments and PREMIUMS for working NIGHTS as and when required. REQUIREMENTS: -JIB Gold/ECS Card certified (ESSENTIAL) -18th Edition -Inspection & Testing 2394/2395 or equivalent -Driving Licence (ESSENTIAL) -Flexibility for occasional NIGHTS (ESSENTIAL) -Live within a reasonable commute of central London and the Blackwall Tunnel (ESSENTIAL) Standard working hours are 40 hours a week working Monday to Friday on DAYS. Overtime uplift is paid as below. 06:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday - Standard rate. £21.20/hr PAYE 18:00 - 06:00 Monday to Friday - x 1.5 £31.80/hr PAYE 06:00 - 18:00 Saturday and Sunday - 1.5x £31.80/hr PAYE 18:00 - 06:00 Saturday and Sunday and Bank Holidays £42.40/hr PAYE You will need to be located within commutable distance from the Central/South East London area with further projects likely to be located further south of here. A van will be provided to get to the different tunnel sites, so a UK licence will be required. There will be some electrical testing involved as well as maintenance so Inspection & Testing qualification is HIGHLY DESIRED. The main aspect of the work is related to road tunnel infrastructure, with the potential of working on up to 13 road tunnels in and around London and the South of England.
