Electrical / Mechanical Assembler

The Role: Semi-Skilled Assembler (Electrical & Mechanical) Monday - Thursday 7:15am - 4:15pm Friday - 7:15 - 1:15pm (40 hours per week) Permanent Position Salary 28.9k Duties: * Perform all required tasks/operations within manufacturing cell to include electrical and mechanical assembly, cable preparation, harnessing and soldering. * To be conversant with H&S, quality and process documentation * To be able to identify any issues or changes and propose solutions on new manufacturing build. * To be able to train new assemblers on current manufacturing build using TPS Work Instructions and TPS Wiring Schematics. * To be able to build/repair legacy product with minimal drawings and schematics * To maintain general housekeeping and contribute in continual improvement ideas/activities Qualifications: Desirable: Time served apprentice with full indentures in an electrical environment. Experience: Essential: Previous electrical/mechanical assembly of electrical components using drawings and/or works instructions Desirable: Experience in assembly within a similar type of power electronics company Skills Essential: The ability to use hand tools in the operation of assembly of component parts Desirable: Experienced in the field of electrical/electronic assembly Kinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years' experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
