Kinetic Recruitment are looking to recruit a Process Operative to work for a leading Food Manufacturing site. The role is responsible for the effective running of the pasteurisers and associated blending systems as well as managing CIP's. They will ensure that all monitoring systems required by the Company are completed accurately to ensure batches and process conditions are checked in accordance with laid down quality procedures and provide assistance with fault finding. The role is one that can impact directly on the performance of the sites equipment. It is a support function within the business, which is heavily involved in helping to not only support the current processes in place but to also optimise them. Ensure process requirements are met and that product is available on time and to plan, whilst meeting necessary quality standards. Accurate and timely material issue and return ensuring job closing responsibilities are met. Accurately prepare batches in accordance with recipe and schedule, ensuring documentation and records are completed in a timely way. Carry out quality tests and any alterations to batches as required to ensure conformance to recipe specifications. Ensure equipment and all associated pipe work are cleaned in accordance with laid down CIP procedures. Escalate break down or non-standard operating conditions appropriately to Engineers, QA's & Shift Managers. Ensure wastage of product and raw materials, including water, is kept to an absolute minimum and raw material yields are maximised. Ensure equipment and immediate area around plant is maintained to excellent standards of hygiene and housekeeping suitable for unannounced audit. During maintenance ensure that procedures are carefully followed and records completed accurately. Ensure all other records / paperwork, such as downtime sheets, cleaning records, material usage, CCP's, QCP's, processing parameters etc. are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Liaise with Filling Operators to manage CIP events, breakdowns, quality issues, start-ups, recipe to recipe changes and shutdowns. Diagnose and fix problems associated with the equipment and product quality issues whenever possible; assisting departments as required. Ideally have experience within the food, chemical or clean room environments. On site parking This is a 24/7 operational site. Following a shift pattern working 12hr shifts Days and nights. Salary starting from 22,500 rising once passed probationary period.
