Are you an experienced Controls Engineer looking for a new role? Do you have an HNC or Degree in electrical/ electronic engineering? Do you have experience in Lenze and Mitsubishi PLC, and experience of mechanical engineering? Kinetic PLC are looking to recruit a Controls Engineer to work for our client based in the Wearside area. This is a permanent position starting as soon as possible for the right candidate. As a Control Engineer your duties will be: *To work with the Technical Control Systems Director to design, install and maintain high technology Textile equipment. *Multi-disciplined engineer with a strong control systems bias. *This will include working with and programming a wide range of control systems including PLCs, servos and vision systems. *Interact with and build relationships with customers and suppliers *To fault find, repair and commission machines, both in the workshop and on customers sites. Qualifications and experience: *HNC / Degree in electrical / electronic engineering *A high level of computer literacy *Essential to the job is having at least one year of experience programming PLCs *Experience in Lenze and Mitsubishi PLC *Experience of mechanical engineering You may be occasionally required to travel to customer locations to install and service equipment.
