Kinetic are currently working with a fantastic family run company based in Sheffield who have a requirement for a CNC Turner. Working for a well established company in the area, our client is looking for experienced machinists who can fully programme working on producing components primarily for medical sector. The role will require the following skills/experience: 1. Ideally be apprentice trained as a CNC Turner. 2. Must be able to programme, set and operate on either Fanuc controls. 3. Ideally have previous experience operating Star or Citizen Sliding head lathes. 4. Must have experience working with high grade steel or exotic materials. 5. Have experience of working one-offs and small batch runs. 6. Must have previously worked to tight tolerances. This is a permanent contract and you will sign a contract with the company. Rate of pay: £11.50-13.80 an hour depending on skill/programming level* Shift pattern: Double days shift pattern (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm Monday to Friday) OR regular nights paid at rate + T1/2. *Lots of regular overtime is available which is paid at T1/2 during the week and Saturday and DT on Sundays.
