MIG TIG Welder

Our client, based in the Deeside area, are looking for a MIG Welder on an initial 1-2 month period. However, there is likely to be further projects following this one, so the work may well go on longer than this. Work is on days, working a 40 hour week and will pay between £15-17/hr PAYE, dependent on experience. The majority of the work is MIG welding of 15mm mild steels but some TIG welding experience would also be helpful, as would be the ability to work to engineering drawings. Responsibilities: - Perform MIG/TIG welding on various metal components - Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements - Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding techniques based on the project - Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools - Fabricate and assemble metal structures using welding techniques - Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications - Use hand tools and power tools to prepare materials for welding Requirements: - Qualified to Level 3 in welding or equivalent - Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques - Ability to read and interpret drawings, and specifications - Experience working with different types of metals, including mild steels - Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds If you feel you are well suited to the Welding position, please apply with your full updated CV.
