Wood Machinist

Kinetic plc is working with one of our clients in Trafford Park to recruit an experienced Wood Machinist for a full-time position. Our client runs a busy timber mill and is expanding operations with the arrival of a brand-new moulder. They're looking for someone who's confident using machinery and has a good work ethic! What You'll Be Doing * Operating machines like multi-head moulders * Creating high-quality mouldings and profiles from both hardwood and softwood * Keeping an eye on quality and making sure everything is done to a high standard * Following health & safety rules and wearing PPE (which will be provided) * Working as part of a friendly, hardworking team What We're Looking For * At least 2 years' experience using wood machinery * Someone who's accurate, reliable, and takes pride in their work * Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic * Willingness to learn - full training is provided * Someone who can work well on their own and with others Working Hours * Monday to Thursday: 07:15am - 4:30pm * Friday: 07:45am - 1:45pm (That's a nice early finish to the week!)
