Engineering Labourer

Kinetic Industrial are proud to be supporting a global machinery manufacturer in the recruitment of a Labourer to join their busy production facility in Heywood. This role will support both the Goods In and Assembly teams in the build of high-spec machinery. It is a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering company, offering full training and long-term career development. This is a long term temporary, on-going position working Monday to Friday 7am to 4:30pm. Responsibilities: * Operating Counterbalance FLT * Maintain very high standards of cleanliness in the workshop, including sweeping, shovelling and operating floor cleaning machines * Clean machine parts and sub-assembly areas * Assist with kit marshalling and goods-in processes as required * Carry out general unskilled duties to support the assembly team * Operate crane and slinging procedures (full training provided) * Work flexibly to assist across all areas of production when needed * Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations at all times Requirements: * Valid Counterbalance FLT licence, in date and with recent, regular use * Previous experience using an overhead crane is desirable (training can be provided) * Strong time management skills and ability to work to deadlines * Flexible and adaptable, willing to support different areas of production * Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team * Excellent communication, both written and verbal Details: * £12.82 per hour * Monday to Friday, 7am to 4:30pm * Long term, temporary position * Based in Heywood * Full training and development opportunities provided If you hold a valid FLT licence and are looking for a hands-on role with a leading engineering manufacturer, apply today to join their team in Heywood.
