General Assistant / Data Input

Kinetic have an extremely varied position available for someone who genuinely likes to be kept busy! As the role of General Assistant, one minute you'll be answering the phone, the next you might be tidying up the staff areas. You'll be working for a family run, small but very successful business in Bolton with over 30 years behind them (and many more ahead). They're straight talking, hardworking, no nonsense people who value someone who's the same. As the General Assistant / Data Inputter you will be: * Inputting data onto the system * Answering calls and helping with any general queries that come in * Booking in equipment * Handling invoicing * Preparing quotes * Cleaning specialised electrical equipment * Keeping the workshop clean and tidy * Using a computer for basic admin tasks * On your feet for most of the day - this is not a desk bound role * Helping out with a wide range of tasks as needed - no two days are the same Along with a great attitude and willingness to get stuck in, we are looking for: * Someone with strong computer skills and confidence using basic systems * A person who is happy answering the phone and taking clear, accurate details * Experience using Sage - a real bonus * A hands on individual who's happy to help wherever needed * A good communicator who's confident on the phone and comfortable with admin tasks * A team player with a positive, down to earth attitude * Someone flexible who doesn't mind switching between different tasks * A driving licence - a great advantage * Someone who enjoys working in a small team and just cracking on with the job * Able to stand for most of the day In return, you will receive: * £12.21 per hour * 40 hours per week - 08:00-17:00 Mon-Thurs, 08:00-15:45 Friday * A very long term temporary position - potential to go permanent but not guaranteed * Based in Westhoughton * The chance to work with a genuine, straight talking, down to earth team If you're dependable, easy going, and enjoy a bit of variety in your day, we'd love to hear from you.
