Machine Operative

Kinetic Industrial are looking for multiple Machine Operators for a Dukinfield based manufacturer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a multi-national organisation and a market leader within their industry. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, learning technical processes, and developing long-term skills in a manufacturing environment. Full training is provided, progressing from machine assistance to full machine operation. This is a temporary to permanent position where you must be able to work Monday to Friday, rotating shifts of: * 6am to 2pm * 2pm to 10pm * 10pm to 6am Role: * Loading and unloading materials onto the machinery * Handling and positioning coils safely using appropriate equipment * Learning how to pack coils of different sizes to meet specific customer requirements * Carrying out routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, basic checks, and reporting any issues * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area * Progressing to full slitting machine operation once initial training is completed-this includes setting up the machine, monitoring output, and troubleshooting minor issues Requirements: * Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience * Good reliability, timekeeping, and the ability to work across all three shifts * Practical, hands-on approach and a willingness to learn new skills * Excellent attention to detail * Able to follow instructions and work safely at all times Additional information: * £15.28 per hour, with incremental increases as skills and responsibilities grow * Working rotating shifts of 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm / 10pm to 6am * Full training, beginning with machine assistance and progressing to skilled machine operation * Temporary to permanent role If you're seeking a new opportunity where you can learn, grow, and advance your career, and you possess the relevant skills and experience, we'd love to hear from you.
