Machine Operator

Job Title: Machine Operator Location: Wallsend / Walker Salary: £28-33k depending on shift pattern Shifts: 2-Shift (Wallsend) / 3-Shift (Walker) / Night Shift (Wallsend) About the Role: We are currently seeking reliable and motivated Machine Operators to join our client within a busy heavy manufacturing environment. These roles are offered on an ongoing temporary basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful 12-month training period. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor heavy manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently Set up machines in line with production requirements Carry out routine quality checks to ensure product standards are met Identify and report faults, defects, or maintenance issues Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health & safety regulations Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets Requirements: Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operating role Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment Good understanding of health & safety practices Shift Patterns Available: (All Monday - Friday 38 hours per week) 2-Shift Pattern: Rotating early and late shifts 3-Shift Pattern: Rotating early, late, and night shifts Night Shift: Fixed night schedule What We Offer: Ongoing temporary employment with the potential for permanent opportunities after 12 months Overtime opportunities Full training provided Supportive team environment If you are interested and have the necessary experience please apply via the link provided.
