Assembly Operatives

Kinetic Recruitment is supporting a global engineering company with the recruitment of Experienced Assembly Operatives. With over 70 years of industry expertise, our client is a world leader in engine-boosting turbo systems. Although the Assembly Roles are temporary, there is the potential for long-term work. What you will be doing as the new Assembly Operative: *Assembling and disassembling turbochargers to high quality standards. *Rotating across different production areas to broaden your skills and experience. *Using hand tools and following technical drawings and work instructions. *Carrying out quality checks throughout the assembly process. *Recording production data accurately and working to production targets. *Working safely and collaboratively as part of a supportive production team. What you need to have in order to be contacted about the Assembly role is: *Previous assembly or manufacturing experience (we may also consider candidates with transferable production experience) *Experience using hand tools such as drills and screwdrivers. *Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing quality work. *A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt. *Ability to work well within a team and meet production targets. *Willing, able and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties. *Strong awareness of health and safety. *Excellent written and verbal communication skills. This sought after role offers: *£12.71 per hour (rate increase after successful training period) *Early finish every Friday - start your weekend sooner! *Free onsite parking. *Uniform provided. *Working Hours 37 hours per week Mon to Thurs : 8:00am - 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm *Based in Handforth/Cheadle area Please note: A SUCCESSFUL DRUG AND ALCOHOL TEST IS REQUIRED BEFORE STARTING EMPLOYMENT.
