Pipefitter

Kinetic are seeking to recruit an experienced Pipefitter for a permanent role with a Global business in the Portsmouth! Pay: £35,886 + 33% shift allowance (if applicable) As a pipefitter, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex pipe systems on naval vessels. This includes working with various materials (copper, steel, plastic), interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring systems meet naval standards and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Fabricate, install, and test piping systems on naval ships and ship manufactuing. - Work from engineering drawings, isometric sketches, and verbal instructions - Cut, thread, weld, and bend pipes as required - Conduct pressure testing and leak checks - Collaborate with engineers, welders, and other trades to ensure project efficiency - Maintain a high standard of safety and quality in all work Essential Requirements: - Time-served or NVQ Level 3 in Pipefitting or a relevant trade (Absolute must have) - Previous experience in marine, shipyard, or industrial manufacturing environments - Strong knowledge of pipefitting tools and techniques - Ability to work from technical drawings and specifications - Willingness to undergo MOD security clearance Desirable: - Experience with MOD or Royal Navy vessels - Confined space and working at height qualifications If you are looking for a new opportunity, and feel you have the skills and experience please apply below!
