Chemical Process Operative

Kinetic are recruiting a Chemical Process Operative on behalf of a highly reputable chemical manufacturer based in Wythenshawe. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company with nearly 100 years of industry expertise, specialising in plastic and adhesive products. Please note: This role is within a chemical manufacturing environment. We are specifically seeking candidates with relevant manufacturing/chemical experience Key Responsibilities * Operating within a chemical manufacturing environment, adhering to strict safety procedures * Safely moving raw materials and finished goods * Loading and unloading vehicles * Supporting production * Carrying out general housekeeping and maintaining high safety standards * Manual handling and heavy lifting duties Requirements * Valid FLT Counterbalance licence would be a strong advantage * Experience in a chemical or process environment * Strong awareness of health & safety procedures * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) What's on Offer * £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.05 after 12 weeks * Overtime available at enhanced rates * Genuine Temporary-to-permanent opportunity * Stable, long-term career prospects * Monday-Thursday: 07:00-15:30 Friday: 07:00-13:00 This is a genuine temp to perm position with a fantastic company.
