Join a brand-new, state-of-the-art engineering facility in Newcastle-we're hiring 16 experienced Panel Wirers on long-term temporary contracts. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team from day one, working on major global power and energy projects with long-term stability. You'll be joining a Top 50 global engineering employer, offering a strong pipeline of secured work for over five years, along with excellent prospects for permanent employment. The Role: Assemble and wire industrial control panels to precise specifications Interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical drawings Install and integrate a range of electrical components Assist with testing and ensure all work meets quality standards Maintain high levels of safety, accuracy, and productivity What We're Looking For: Proven experience in panel wiring (essential) Strong ability to read and understand electrical drawings NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (apprenticeship trained - essential) Excellent attention to detail and high-quality workmanship A reliable team player with a proactive approach What's on Offer: Long-term opportunity with a secured 5-year project pipeline Ongoing start dates available PAYE contract (Inside IR35) 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday Day shifts initially, moving to a 2-shift pattern as the site expands Modern, purpose-built facility with brand-new equipment Opportunity to work for a globally recognised engineering leader Strong potential for permanent roles Competitive pay: £19.27 per hour (days) | £22.16 per hour (shifts) Excellent Newcastle location Kinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years' experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
