Technical Services Co-ordinator (part-time)

Kinetic Industrial are proud to be supporting a leading food production company in Ashton-under-Lyne in the recruitment of a Part-Time Technical Services Co-ordinator. This is a key role ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance are maintained across all products and processes. This is a part-time, temporary to permanent role, working 25 hours per week. You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8am to 1pm, with flexibility available. Responsibilities: * Prepare and issue internal specifications and factory documentation * Complete customer product questionnaires and respond to queries * Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries * Review and approve technical artwork, ensuring compliance and barcode accuracy * Support product launches with accurate documentation and communication * Conduct internal audits and support external audits (BRCGS, COP, customer standards) * Carry out GAP analysis, escalating issues and ensuring corrective action is taken * Maintain document control for food safety and quality records * Support continuous improvement projects across the site Requirements: * Food Safety Level 3 & HACCP Level 2 (essential) * Knowledge of BRCGS, GMP, GHP, and Food Defence (essential) * Internal auditing experience and basic microbiology knowledge (advantageous) * Knowledge of legal labelling requirements * Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal * Ability to work independently with excellent attention to detail * Confidence to work independently, with good decision-making and problem-solving skills * Attention to detail with the ability to process data quickly and accurately Details: * Temporary to permanent position * Part-time role working 5 hours a day (25 hours per week) * Flexible working hours * £13.08 per hour This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong food safety and technical knowledge to join a successful business.
