Are you an experienced CNC Press Brake operator looking for a permanent position? My client is looking for a setter/operator of a CNC Trumpf Press Brake. Hours: 39 hours per week days Rate: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour Duration: Permanent Duties: The post holder is responsible for undertaking a wide range of manufacturing processes, operating to high standards of quality whilst promoting and supporting continuous improvement within the Sheet Metal Fabrication Department. Job Description: - To fully set and operate Trumpf CNC Press Brakes. - To maintain programs within the machines eliminating programming errors. - To be able to forward plan and load plan for day machine production. - To communicate with colleagues and internal production to ensure the smooth running of the Sheet Metal/ Fabrication Department. - Operate relevant machinery and tools in a safe manner. - To maintain a high standard and quality of work. - To clean and maintain machines and work area. Knowledge and Skills Requirement: - As the Press Brake Operator you must be able to read, understand and fully interpret engineering drawings. - Experience in setting and operating Trumpf / Amada / Bystronic / Edwards press brakes. - Good experience of modern manufacturing techniques. - Ability to understand CNC programmes. - Recognised served engineer apprenticeship, City and Guilds or equivalent is advantageous. - Ability to lift products up to a maximum 25kg unaided. - Able to communicate effectively face to face.
