Manufacturing Engineer

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to work with a progressive and forward thinking company that is seeing a period of growth. As a Manufacturing Engineer you will support the production process to improve efficiency, ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement across the business. The Manufacturing Engineer will also provide support to lead and deliver new product introduction projects. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you can expect to be paid up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience, working Monday to Thursday with excellent employee benefits and on-site facilities. Manufacturing Engineer Role; * Ensuring safety compliance across all manufacturing processes. * Building and maintaining strong customer relationships. * Identifying and implementing lean tools and best practice methodologies driving process optimisation. * Taking a product from initial enquiry through each stage to full scale production. * Ensuring adherence and sustained compatibility with current and developing industry trends. * Key player in ensuring year on year growth targets are achieved. Manufacturing Engineer Required Skills and Experience * Ability to work in a fast-paced/cross-functional team environment * Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and set personal and team objectives * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to build strong internal and external relationships * Strong work ethic * Excellent organisational skills with excellent attention to detail * IT literate, proficient in the use of MS Office and other relevant software linked to the engineering function * Ability to read CAD drawings, 3D models to determine manufacturing know how and capabilities * A team player, who is helpful, flexible, and co-operative * Engineering based education path Previous experience of working with composite material would be an advantage.
