Sheet Metal Worker

Kinetic Industrial are looking to recruit a Sheet Metal Operative to join a large, well established, manufacturing company based in Oldham. This is a hands-on role within an engineering and manufacturing environment, with a particular focus on operating Press Brake machinery alongside other metalworking and fabrication duties. This is a temporary to permanent role working Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm, and Friday 8am to 1pm - early dart Friday! As the Semi Skilled Sheet metal Op you will be tasked with:: * Operating Press Brake machinery * Fettling materials * Deburring * Operating saw and drilling machines * Assisting within the fabrication workshop * General warehouse duties * Moving and handling products and materials * Following Health & Safety procedures and maintaining a clean working area What you need to bring to the role: * Previous Press Brake experience is essential * Experience operating saw and drilling machinery * Previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment * Good verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work independently and use your own initiative * Practical and hands-on approach * Reliable and hardworking * Able to reliably commute to Shaw, Oldham What you will get in return is: * £14.50 per hour * Full time working hours * Early finish on Fridays * Ongoing work * Immediate start available * Opportunity to work within an established manufacturing business If you have previous Press Brake experience and are interested in this opportunity, please apply below with an up-to-date CV.
