Production Manager

We are currently looking for a Production Manager on a permanent basis with experience in electrical assembly based in Northumberland. This is an opportunity to join an established, leading, manufacturing business. The Production Manager would receive a salary between £45000 and £50000 + other company benefits. Monday - Friday, Day shift. Key Responsibilities of the Production Manager: Delivering against stringent on time and in full targets. Support the execution of delivery of the production plan/schedule, meeting quality and delivery expectations, ensure that best working practices are always maintained. Conduct regular reviews logging actions ensuring these are drawn to a successful closure through the daily Production meeting. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems. Ownership of the production plan and its implementation. Conduct regular 1:1's with your team and support their needs where required. Ensure team members are adequately trained and provided with the correct tools to carry out the tasks. Experience/Qualifications of the Production Manager: Previous experience in Production management. Extensive hands-on experience of managing production, warehousing, and assembly preferably in electronics industry (but not essential). Knowledge of electrical panel wiring (but not essential). Lean Manufacturing experience essential. Full driving licence.
