Night Shift Welder

Kinetic are currently recruiting for an experienced Welder (Nights) for a Temp to Perm role in Sandbach, Cheshire! Job Title: Fabricator/Welder (Night Shift) Salary: £16.50 per hour Shift Pattern: 4 x 12-hour shifts (Monday - Thursday) Working Hours: 18:30 - 06:30 Type: Temp to Perm Location: Sandbach Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our prestigious business on a permanent night shift. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and excellent item based OT payment structure. Key Responsibilities: * Perform fabrication work (not jig work) with precision and efficiency * Weld mild steel components ranging from 3mm to 25mm thickness * Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately * Maintain excellent attendance and timekeeping to ensure workflow continuity * Set and uphold high standards of workmanship, ensuring quality in all tasks * Conduct quality checks on completed work to meet required specifications * Complete and maintain accurate documentation related to the fabrication process Ideal Candidate Requirements: * Proven fabrication experience in a similar role * Strong welding skills with mild steel of varying thicknesses * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently * Reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent attendance and timekeeping * A meticulous approach to workmanship and quality control * Experience with documentation and record-keeping for accuracy in reporting Benefits: * Competitive hourly pay rate of £16.50 * Structured four-day workweek (Monday - Thursday) * Free meal provided on shift * Bonus scheme available upon completion of three-month probation Kinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years of experience of delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
