Kinetic are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator for a Temp to Perm role in Glossop, Derbyshire! Job Title: Fabricator Location: Glossop, Derbyshire Contract Type: 3-Month Temporary to Permanent Pay Rate: £15 - £21 (based on experience) Working Hours: Monday to Friday (full-time, day shift) Company Overview: Our client is a well-established engineering firm with decades of experience delivering high-quality mechanical fabrication and acoustic solutions across multiple industrial sectors. With a strong order book and growing demand, they are now looking to expand their team by recruiting skilled Fabricators on a temporary-to-permanent basis. Role Overview: As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for the manufacture and assembly of a wide range of bespoke metalwork, including ducting, tanks, vessels, and associated steel structures. You will be working from technical drawings, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: * Fabricate components from stainless and mild steel using various techniques including MIG and TIG welding. * Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately. * Carry out cutting, bending, and assembling of metalwork. * Use workshop machinery and tools such as press brakes, guillotines, and hand tools. * Ensure high standards of workmanship and attention to detail. * Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines. * Follow all health & safety guidelines and company procedures. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Fabricator in a manufacturing or engineering environment. * Proficient in MIG and/or TIG welding. * Ability to read and work from technical/engineering drawings. * Good understanding of fabrication processes and tools. * Strong attention to detail and quality. * Reliable, punctual, and a good team player. * NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication & Welding (or equivalent) desirable but not essential.
