Quality Technician - permanent role Location: Deeside Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Salary: £28,000-£35,000 per year, depending on experience Start Date: Immediate start available Benefits 33 days holiday per year Free on-site parking Company pension scheme Supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and development About the Role: Our client, a leading UK trailer manufacturer, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join their team at the Deeside site. This role is ideal for someone with a hands-on approach and a passion for maintaining high standards in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all parts used in production meet quality standards Manage non-conforming materials and daily production scrap Conduct audits to ensure compliance with production requirements Support investigations into internal and external quality concerns Assist with internal, external, and customer audits Maintain quality registers and submit regular reports Collaborate with site leaders to resolve issues quickly Visit other local sites and support supplier audits as needed What We're Looking For A "can-do" attitude and eagerness to learn Practical, inquisitive, and solutions-focused mindset Strong communication and teamwork skills Understanding of manufacturing processes Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Excellent timekeeping and reliability Qualifications & Experience Minimum 5 GCSEs including English, Maths, and Science/Physics at Grade B or above Previous experience in a Quality Technician role, ideally within engineering, assembly, or fabrication Equivalent work experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications If you believe you have attributes for this role then please do not hesitate to contact Kamila 01244 821737 or email your up to date CV to: [email protected].
