Mechanical Fitter

Mechanical Fitter 37 hours per week 2-shift pattern £22.16 per hour PAYE Long term contract Kinetic Recruitment are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters for long-term contracts with a well established engineering company in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The Role: Perform mechanical fitting and assembly activities using hand and machine tools working to fine tolerances. Check finished work in accordance with required standards using relevant measuring equipment. Maintain tooling, components, machine and working environment in a clean and orderly state. Carry out first line maintenance in line with training. Maintain documentation in line with requirements. Skills and Experience: Time-Served in a recognised engineering discipline (Mechanical). Experience using mechanical measuring and inspection equipment (micrometers etc). Previous Mechanical Fitting experience is essential. Working hours: 2-shift pattern Week 1 Monday - Friday 7.09am - 2.36pm Week 2 Monday - Thursday 2.30pm - 10.00pm / Friday 2.10pm - 8.55pm If you have the relevant qualifications and experience and would be interested in this role please apply now!
