Assembly Technicians

Kinetic are assisting a global company based in Irlam with recruiting 2 x Assembly Operatives. For well over 150 years, this company has built up an enviable reputation within instrumentation and manufacturing. This is a permanent position from day one and you will be tasked with all aspects of manufacturing and assembly work. Along with assembling and manufacturing the products to the highest of quality, you will also be tasked with the following: * Carry out hands on production tasks as directed by the manager. * Support all manufacturing activities within the factory environment. * Look for opportunities to enhance quality and efficiency across operations and provide constructive feedback to management on product or quality concerns. * Inspect completed parts and assemblies in accordance with company procedures. * Perform all manufacturing duties in line with the company's Quality and Health & Safety standards, ensuring the work area is kept clean and organised. * Assist with training initiatives for both staff and products within the factory. * Follow all company processes and operational guidelines at all times. * Complete all traveller bookings and any other required documentation accurately and promptly. * Ensure manufacturing deadlines are met * Report and document any planned or unplanned maintenance requirements. * Identify and record scrap components following the appropriate company processes. * Undertake any additional tasks, where trained and competent, as deemed necessary by the company What we need the Assemblers / Technicians to have is the following: * Basic mechanical or technical aptitude: Capable of using tools, machinery or production equipment * Hands on manufacturing experience: Familiarity with working in a production or factory environment and operating manufacturing equipment. * Strong attention to detail: Ability to assemble products accurately and carry out quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications. * Quality and Safety standards: Ensuring adherence to all manufacturing quality and safety standards including but not restricted to ISO 9001:2015 * Ability to follow procedures: Confident working to set processes, completing documentation accurately, and adhering to company standards. * Excellent Communication skills: Ability to communicate within the team and the role involves close coordination with the Operations Manager. As well as not working a Friday, the job also offers: * Mon - Thurs, 6-7:30 Start 16:45-18:15 Finish * £25000.00 + DOE * 28 days Holiday (inc Bank Holidays) This is a fantastic company to work for who are consistently busy.
