Goods in Data inputter

Kinetic recruitment are currently recruiting for a Goods In Data Inputter on behalf of our manufacturing client based in Dukinfield. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for a reliable and detail-oriented individual with strong computer skills. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all incoming materials are accurately recorded, labelled, and processed efficiently. Location: Dukinfield Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Key Responsibilities * Accurately input data relating to all incoming goods into internal systems * Book in deliveries and verify documentation against received materials * Label incoming materials correctly and ensure traceability * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records * Liaise with warehouse and production teams as required * Perform general administrative duties related to goods-in operations * Spend a small amount of time on the shop floor supporting goods handling Requirements * Good computer skills (experience with data entry systems preferred) * High level of accuracy and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good organisational skills * Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or goods-in environment is desirable but not essential Working Conditions * Primarily office-based role with occasional time spent on the shop floor * Friendly and supportive team environment * Opportunity to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period What's on Offer * Competitive hourly rate of £12.71 * Stable working hours (no shifts) * Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term prospects * Experience within a well-established manufacturing business Kinetic PLC is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years' experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing, and technical industries.
