Powder Coating Specialist Supervisor

Kinetic are seeking to recruit an experienced Powder Coating Supervisor / Specialist to join a specialist coatings company based in Tameside. This is a permanent position within a well-established operation, delivering high-quality coating services across a range of industry sectors. Powder coating is a critical function within the business, with the facility operating a medium-sized plant using a rise-and-fall conveyor system. The position will involve hands-on coating work alongside supervision of day-to-day shop floor activities, with responsibility for coordinating workload, maintaining quality standards, and improving overall plant efficiency. This role also offers progression into a middle management position. Role: Application of coatings including Polyester, Epoxy, Hybrid systems, and PPA571 Preparing customised sample panels to customer specifications Troubleshooting technical and quality issues Ensuring production targets and deadlines are met Supervising and supporting production staff on a daily basis Coordinating workload and maintaining process flow Maintaining high quality and operational standards Requirements: Previous powder coating experience Proven supervisory or team leadership experience Confident working within a fast-paced production environment Strong problem-solving and quality focus Able to lead, support, and develop a team Keen to progress into a management role Details: 7:00am - 3:00pm (potential to move to double days) 37.5 hours per week £17.00 per hour (£33,150 per annum) Shift allowance where applicable If you are an experienced Powder Coating Supervisor / Specialist looking to take the next step in your career, apply now.
