Part Time Production Operative

Kinetic Industrial are working with a leading supplier of specialist cable products based in Blackley, who are looking to recruit a Part Time Production Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business, offering a part-time role with the potential to move into full-time hours in the future. Working Hours (Rotating): * Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 08:30 to 17:00 * Week 2: Monday, Tuesday - 08:30 to 17:00 Please note: A drug and alcohol test will be carried out at interview stage. A negative result is required to be considered for the role. The Role: * Following job sheets and cutting orders accurately * Cutting, winding, packing, and processing cable products * Operating machinery safely and efficiently * Completing orders using scanners or manual systems * Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment * Reporting faults, damaged goods, or safety concerns * Carrying out basic equipment checks and reporting defects * Adhering to health & safety and environmental procedures * Supporting the wider production team with general duties Requirements: * Good numeracy and literacy skills * Strong communication skills * Able to work independently and as part of a team * Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated * Basic understanding of health & safety in a manufacturing environment * Previous production or quality experience (preferred) * Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills * NVQ or equivalent (desirable) * Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test What's on Offer: * £12.71 per hour * Part-time role with potential to become full-time * Temporary to permanent opportunity If you are looking for part-time work and meet the above criteria, please apply with an up-to-date CV.
