CNC Press Brake Setter Operator 2x CNC Press Brake Setter Operators (ideal editing/ programming skills too) required to join a credible and long standing engineering company who specialise in fabricated, machined and profile cut steel products in automotive, rail, construction and other industry sectors. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a respected engineering business with a strong family feel (many staff have been here for 15 years +) Responsibilities as CNC Press Brake Setter Operator Setting and Operating Bystronic CNC Press Brake Working from engineering schematic drawings Creating quality steel components while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency. Knowledge, understanding or prior experience programming CNC Press Brakes is desired Inspection of finished parts (ensuring every component meets the required specifications) Shifts available: Mornings & Afters Rotating or Fixed Nights Morning and Afternoon shift pattern: Pay rate £15.70 per hour (£32,656) Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm - 12:00am Fixed Night Shift: Pay £16.97 per hour (£35,298) Monday to Thursday, 8pm to 6am Key Responsibilities As a CNC Press Brake Setter Operator, you will: Set up and operate Bystronic press brake machinery Programme components accurately using engineering drawings Read and interpret flat profile engineering drawings, press bending symbols, development lengths and all other manufacturing information Produce components to required tolerances and quality standards Inspection - complete dimensional checks Experience using measuring equipment such as callipers, micrometres, protractors, and tape measures Adjust programmes where needed (editing/ programming abilities is a bonus) Identify and resolve any issues during production (health and safety etc) Support other operators and share your knowledge when required CNC Press Brake Setter Operator Benefits once permanent: Free Westfield Health Cover (Level 1 after 6months, L2 after 2 years) Early Friday finish 60/40% Gym membership paid for by company Free flu jabs Company pension and life cover (death in service) 31 days' holiday (20 bookable, 3 Xmas shutdown, 8 statutory) Free onsite parking Employee Assistance Programme, feel supported Seasonal free treats - Summer events, Xmas raffle to win free gifts!
