Due to continued expansion and a new site development, a specialist pipework and fabrication company in Morley is looking to recruit two skilled TIG Pipe Welders to join their growing team. What's in it for you? * Basic salary of £46,191.60 per annum (£21.15 per hour) * Average OTE of £54,440 per annum * Monday to Thursday working week * Overtime available on Fridays paid at 1.5x rate * Paid breaks * Free parking * Additional paid holiday on your birthday * Option to purchase up to 4 additional holidays per year * Long-term permanent opportunity with a growing engineering business The TIG Pipe Welder Role You will be working within a busy fabrication shop producing specialist pipework and fabrication projects to the highest standards. Key duties include: * TIG and MAG welding to X-ray standard on stainless steel and carbon steel pipework * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Cutting, preparing and fabricating pipe spools independently * Fabricating pipework, flanges, skids and plant room assemblies * Carrying out occasional fitting and mechanical assembly work * Supporting general fabrication shop duties as required * Maintaining high health and safety standards at all times The TIG Pipe Welder role is approximately: * 95% TIG/MAG pipe welding * 5% fitting and assembly work Successful applicants will complete a practical weld test during the interview process: TIG Stainless Steel * 54mm to 89mm diameter * 2mm to 5.49mm wall thickness MAG Carbon Steel * 114mm diameter * 4.54mm wall thickness Candidates must be capable of welding in PA/PB positions. TIG Pipe Welder Requirements To be considered, you will: * Have at least 2 years' experience in stainless steel and mild steel pipe welding and fabrication, or be time-served with relevant qualifications * Be confident welding to X-ray standard * Be able to work from engineering drawings without supervision * Have strong fabrication and fitting skills * Have experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment Desirable: * Previous coded welding experience * Background as a Pipe Welder, Plater Welder or Fabricator Welder * Full UK driving licence Location Morley, Leeds Easily commutable from Leeds, Bradford, Wakefield, Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Halifax, Barnsley, Shipley, Otley and surrounding areas.
