Assembly Operative

Kinetic plc is working with one of our clients in Chorley to recruit an Assembly line Operative for a minimum of a few weeks. Our client is a Lancashire-based supplier of high-quality products used to move water and other fluids. Hours of work: Mon - Thurs 7.30 am- 4.00pm (Including 1/2 hour Lunch Break) Fri 7.30am - 3.30pm (including 1/2 hour Lunch Break) Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour What You'll Be Doing: * Follow instructions from the Warehouse Supervisor to support the preparation, assembly, packing, and dispatch of customer orders. * Carry out cutting, assembling, and packing of hose orders, ensuring accuracy and quality. * Assemble hardware components as per order requirements, including picking, preparing, and fitting material components. * Perform basic product testing and quality checks during and after assembly. * Operate tools and equipment to assist in the fabrication and light welding of product assemblies when required. * Maintain adequate stock levels of components, materials, and consumables for assembly tasks. * Keep the assembly and warehouse area clean, organised, and safe, following all HSE guidelines. * Assist with the maintenance of assembly tools, warehouse machinery, and production equipment. * Support goods in/out, including offloading deliveries, booking in stock, and inspecting goods for quality and accuracy. * What We're Looking For: * Experience within a Manufacturing or assembly role * Someone who's accurate, reliable, and takes pride in their work * Good timekeeping and a strong work ethic * Willingness to learn - full training is provided * Someone who can work well on their own and with others This is a great chance to join a well-established company where you'll be supported and encouraged to grow, so why not apply!
