Facilities Maintenance Electrician

Facilities Maintenance Electrician (Estates), Glascoed, Wales, £36,000 Maintenance Electrician working as part of an estates management team responsible for the upkeep of services and assets on a 1000 acre site, the role will include and is not restricted too. * Ensuring the sites electrical infrastructure, such as water treatment, air handling, heating, lighting, lightening protection and telecommunication systems, plant, and associated equipment is maintained to a high standard. * Providing a proactive and technical resource to solve plant, equipment, and control system faults across the site. * Review and updating computerised maintenance management systems (SAP) to ensure maintenance work schedules are managed effectively and internal customers are updated. * Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on all site assets along with proactively assisting in the reduction of the site's utilities usage in line with targets * Ensuring that any disposal of maintenance activity generated wastes, including chemicals and oils are carried out following site policies and procedures * Following Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) guidelines within the Engineering Services department in accordance with site policies and procedures The role offers a 4 day working pattern Mon - Thurs 0715 to 1700 with frequent opportunities to work overtime that attracts premium payments. In addition to this a competitive salary £36,060 with a number of package enhancements makes this a very attractive opportunity. To be considered for this role you will have the following. Essential: * Time Served Apprenticeship via an approved body or organisation * ONC and/or HNC (or equivalent qualification) Electrical * Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of electrical systems within facilities and building services environment, * Experience and knowledge of permits and isolation procedures Desirable: * City & Guilds Inspection and Testing (2391 or equivalent) * Experience in fault finding on electrical control systems (including boiler control systems, 3 Phase motors, drives and building management systems) * Experience on a computerised maintenance management system * BS7671 Wiring regulations If you feel you have the skills and experience to fulfil this role then please APPLY NOW or call Adam Kennedy on 07975 737 413.
