Electrical Technician

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Technicians to join a well-established and innovative engineering manufacturer based in Wallsend. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled Electrical Technicians looking for a secure, long-term temporary contract. You will play a key role in assembling, wiring, and testing specialised control panels engineered for high-spec energy and industrial applications. This role will require you to work night shifts as well in the long term so you must be flexible to work both shifts. What's on Offer - * £20.00 per hour * Monday to Friday 8:00am until 4:30pm * 25 days' holiday, increasing with service * Ongoing long term assignment * Opportunity to work with a leading engineering manufacturer Key Responsibilities - * Point-to-point wiring, assembly, and integration of control panels to exact client specs and safety standards. * Interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and layout diagrams accurately. * Fit relays, PLCs, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, and associated hardware. * Carry out initial electrical inspections, continuity checks, and fault-finding prior to testing. About You - To be successful in this role, you'll have - * Proven experience as an Electrical Technician with a strong background in control panel building. * Previous experience within Oil & Gas, subsea or heavy engineering is desirable. * Relevant recognised electrical qualification, NVQ or City and Guilds with working experience.
