Electrical Fitter

We are currently recruiting experienced Electrical Fitters for a long-term contract opportunity in Newcastle upon Tyne, supporting the build of high-spec industrial control panels for major global energy projects. This is an opportunity to work within a brand-new, state-of-the-art engineering facility for a World Top 50 employer - a globally recognised leader in power and energy engineering. With a strong project pipeline and continued investment into the site, there is high potential for permanent employment for the right individuals. The Role: * Building and assembling industrial control panels to detailed engineering specifications * Working confidently from electrical schematics and technical drawings * Installing and integrating electrical components into control systems * Supporting testing and quality assurance processes * Ensuring all work meets strict safety, quality and production standards Requirements: * Proven panel wiring experience (essential) * Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (Apprenticeship trained - essential) * High attention to detail and quality standards * Reliable, proactive and team-focused attitude What's On Offer: * £22.16 per hour * 2-shift pattern (Monday-Friday) * 37 hours per week * Long-term contract stability * Modern, purpose-built engineering facility * Work for a World Top 50 global employer * High potential for permanent contract * Excellent Newcastle location with strong transport link Kinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years' experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
