Production Operative

Production Operative Hourly Pay: £12.60 paid weekly, one week in arrears. Hours: 7am-5pm Mon-Wed 9.5hours, 7am-4.30pm Thurs 9hours = 37.5hours pcw standard total. Fridays are T+1/2 overtime if you want it and it's available. Working in a busy workshop, this role is a great opportunity to join a fast moving and growing company. The role is temp to perm following a 26 week 'probationary' period Day to day duties will cover (but not be limited to): * Work and adhere to strict Health and Safety standards set by the company * Goods off load from inbound supplier delivery * Breaking down deliveries * Preparing jobs for welders * Picking materials for the welding jobs * Heavy labour-intensive duties due to handling of steel products (upper body strength is needed) * Counterbalance FLT - license preferred but not essential * Use of Overhead Cranes and gantries - experience preferable but not essential * Use of MRP / ERP systems for material Goods Receipt Note (GRN) booking in and to track and record outbound product * Stores / material management * Ability to work to schedules, batching, kitting and picking of materials * Ability to learn and quickly understand product knowledge * Knowledge of 'Delivery to Line' within a Production facility 'Just In Time' * Goods despatch, tracking, recording and paperwork management * Ability to work to outbound delivery schedules As part of the recruitment process for this role, you will need to complete a set of video questions to be considered, so click on this link - https://odro.io/s/jcXo9 - to start the process.
