Mechanical Design Engineer

Role: Mechanical Design Engineer (PERMANENT) Salary: 40-45k Location: Deeside Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Friday Overview: Our client, based in the Deeside area, are looking for experienced Mechanical Design Engineers on a permanent basis. The roles are permanent and will pay between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, potentially more for more senior level engineers. You will be working for a well-known manufacturing company, with a number of manufacturing sites, and in a purpose built design office. Requirements: * Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training and experience * 3D CAD modelling and detail drafting experience (ideally SolidWorks) * Able to run with a project, from client enquiry through to final design. * Have the ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve. * Have recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering. * Be very experienced in 3D SolidWorks, covering fabrications, rotating parts, sheet metal and welded components/fabrications. * Able to carry out detailed 3D designs of mechanical part using SolidWorks. * Understand basic fabrication processes from a design perspective.
