Metal Finisher Location: Bradford Hourly Pay: £13.46 rising to £14.45 once fully trained Hours: Monday to Wednesday 07:00 to 17:00 and Thursday 07:00 to 16:30. Overtime on Friday paid at time and a half Contract: Ongoing temporary About the Role We're looking for a Metal Finisher to support the finishing of fabricated metal components. This role is ideal for someone confident using hand and power tools and comfortable working in a fast-paced engineering or manufacturing environment. You'll be responsible for preparing metal parts to the required quality standards through grinding, sanding, deburring, polishing, and general finishing work. Metal Finisher Key Responsibilities Fettling, grinding, sanding, linishing, and deburring metal components Using a range of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Preparing surfaces to required finish levels Working on fabricated assemblies, stainless steel, mild steel, and sheet metal Inspecting finished parts for quality and accuracy Maintaining a clean and safe working area Supporting wider production teams where required Metal Finisher Skills and Experience Experience in metal finishing, fettling, grinding, or similar Confident using hand tools and power tools Good attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work Ability to follow instructions and work to set standards A positive, reliable, team-focused approach Experience in fabrication or engineering environments Knowledge of linishing, polishing, or deburring techniques (desirable) Understanding of Health & Safety If you have previously worked as a Metal Finisher, Fabrication Finisher, Deburrer, Grinder, Linisher, Metal Polisher or Semi-skilled Fettler, we would like to hear from you so press 'APPLY' now!
