We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join a Medical Instrument team based in Wythenshawe. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity within a reputable and supportive organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of daily administrative functions, supporting various departments, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Key Responsibilities of the Administrator will include:
* Provide comprehensive administrative support, including document preparation, filing, photocopying, and correspondence.
* Assist with HR-related administrative tasks as required.
* Manage stock ordering and inventory control, including participation in monthly stock takes.
* Handle incoming telephone and email enquiries, maintaining professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
* Coordinate the scheduling and organisation of meetings, conferences, and events.
* Maintain accurate records for managed instrument repair services.
* Support financial administration, including invoice processing and the raising of purchase and sales orders.
* Etch and record surgical instruments using GS1 coding and/or human-readable markings.
* Manage petty cash, ensuring accurate distribution and record-keeping.
* Process annual leave and holiday requests in accordance with company procedures.
We need the Administrator to have the following:
* Proven experience in a similar administrative role.
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
* Delivering high standards of customer service.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all levels.
