Machine Operator

We are currently recruiting experienced Machine Operators to join our busy manufacturing environment located in Walker, Newcastle. Successful candidates will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring production machinery while ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company quality standards. Temp to Perm opportunities Rotating 3-shift (Monday-Friday) Shift times: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am £15.71 per hour (38 hours) Location: Walker About You: * Previous experience working in a similar Machine Operator or Manufacturing role. * Practical experience operating a range of manufacturing or production machinery. * Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Instructions, risk assessments, and technical procedures. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. * Reliable, organised, and able to work effectively as part of a team. * Flexible and willing to work a variety of shift patterns. * Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: * Set up, operate, and monitor a range of manufacturing machinery. * Carry out production activities in accordance with company procedures and quality requirements. * Complete all relevant production, inspection, and quality documentation accurately. * Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and company policies at all times. * Follow Standard Operating Instructions (SOIs), risk assessments, and other relevant work procedures. * Support assembly, testing, and other production activities as required. * Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, organised, and returned to their designated locations after use. * Report any equipment, quality, or safety issues to the appropriate supervisor. * Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines. * Undertake any additional duties reasonably requested by the Shift Supervisor.
