Stores Operative

Kinetic are supporting a well-established and growing business based in St Helens with the recruitment of a Stores Operative. Part of an established group specialising in equipment for telecoms networks, the company have built a strong reputation within their industry and continue to grow year on year. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to build a long-term career within warehousing and stores. The company are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. This is a permanent position working within a busy warehouse and stores environment. Role: * Picking and packing orders ready for dispatch * Loading and unloading deliveries * Booking goods in and checking stock accurately * Moving stock safely around the warehouse * Supporting general stores and warehouse duties * Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe * Assisting with stock counts and inventory checks * Following all company Health & Safety procedures * Completing paperwork and updating records where required * Supporting the wider team with additional duties when needed Requirements: * Previous warehouse or stores experience would be beneficial * Good attention to detail * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good communication skills * Basic IT skills would be advantageous * A positive attitude and strong work ethic * Willingness to learn and develop within the role * FLT experience or licences would be beneficial but not essential Details: * Monday to Thursday 7am to 3:30pm / Friday 7am to 12:30pm * Permanent job * Salary dependent on experience * Holidays and company benefits included This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and supportive company offering long-term stability and development.
