Fitter

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Fitter to join an established and growing engineering business. This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served engineer with a strong background in pumps and rotating equipment to join a small, skilled team and play an important role in the continued growth of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the disassembly, inspection, repair and re-assembly of various rotating equipment, primarily pumps, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines. Package - Monday to Thursday 07:30 until 16:00 Friday 07:30 until 12:30 * £33,265.96 per annum * 25 days holiday plus bank holidays * 3% company pension contribution * Overtime rates applicable * Cycle to Work Scheme * Radius Allowance based on commute to work miles * Death in Service Insurance * Income Protection Insurance Responsibilities - * Disassemble, inspect, repair and re-assemble pumps and other rotating equipment * Complete work within agreed deadlines and to the highest possible standard * Service, fit and assemble rotating equipment in accordance with company procedures * Assist with the preparation of technical reports to company standards and customer requirements * Work in accordance with relevant industry standards and company procedures * Support internal teams in identifying and resolving the root causes of equipment issues * Work as part of specialist and multi-disciplinary teams when required * Maintain a high level of product knowledge across a variety of rotating equipment * Contribute to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction * Work flexibly and undertake overtime when required The Ideal Candidate - * Time-served Fitter/Engineer * Proven experience servicing, fitting and assembling pumps and rotating equipment * Ideally experienced within a service or workshop environment * Strong mechanical engineering background * Able to work effectively as part of a small team * Flexible approach to tasks and working hours * Honest, reliable and committed * Able to produce work to a consistently high standard Kinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years' experience delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
