CNC Press Brake Setter Operator

We are seeking a skilled CNC Press Brake Setter Operator in with experience in both one-off and batch production to join a busy fabrication workshop. You'll be working from technical drawings to produce precision components for extraction systems, paint booths, and associated assemblies. Role: CNC Press Brake Setter Operator Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 16:00, Friday 07:00 to 12:00 Hourly Pay: £15.50 Location: Commutable distance of LS25 CNC Press Brake Setter Operator Key Responsibilities: *Set and operate a range of press brake tools (up to 100 Tonne capacity) *Configure panels for cutting and folding based on engineering drawings *Set and operate CNC fibre line cutting machines *Align programs with drawings and templates to ensure accurate cuts CNC Press Brake Setter Operator General Duties *Interpret technical drawings to extract dimensions and settings for control pattern *Work with stainless steel, mild steel, and other materials Ensure high-quality finishes and dimensional accuracy *Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production targets Ideal Candidate as CNC Press Brake Setter Operator: *Proven experience in a press/ laser/ sheet metal shop environment *Competent in reading and working from engineering drawings *Skilled in both one-off and batch production setups *Familiar with workshop safety and fabrication standards *Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team If you are an experienced CNC Press Brake Setter Operator, press 'APPLY' now to be considered.
