Blending Operator - Corwen We are recruiting a Blending Operator to join a well-established manufacturing team in Corwen. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is accurate, safety-focused and mechanically minded. Full training is provided. Pay: £13.40 per hour Hours: Annualised shift pattern (details below) Benefits: 5 days sick pay, pension, Medicash health insurance Working Hours This role operates on a rotating annual shift pattern: First 22 weeks: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm Next 22 weeks: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am-4:30pm Final rotation: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday 8:00am-3:00pm Key Responsibilities -Blend raw materials accurately following formulations provided by the Quality Department -Draw samples for analytical testing -Complete all blending paperwork and administrative records -Select, weigh and prepare raw materials -Operate a counterbalance FLT -Monitor blend progress, identify issues early and resolve them proactively -Clean down blending equipment to prevent cross-contamination -Follow all company policies, Health & Safety and environmental regulations -Manage time effectively to meet daily production targets -Flush the DI plant system -Support packing and production activities when required -Carry out any additional duties as needed Health, Safety and Environment -Work safely with chemicals -Manual handling up to 25kg -Work in noisy and dusty environments (PPE provided) -Maintain excellent housekeeping standards -Ensure compliance with all HSE regulations Person Specification Required -Understanding of safe chemical handling -Valid FLT licence -Strong Health & Safety awareness -Strong attention to detail and accuracy -Computer literacy -Good communication and problem-solving skills -Good numeracy and literacy Desirable qualities include: -Mechanically minded -Experience working within ISO9001 quality systems -ERP system experience If you feel that you have what we need then please do call Kamila on 01244 821737 or email your up to date CV to: [email protected] Kinetic plc is a Recruitment Consultancy with over 40 years of experience of delivering staffing solutions to the engineering, manufacturing and technical industries.
