Electrical Design Engineer

Our client, based in the North Manchester area, are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to start ASAP. Salary will be around the 40k mark but the may be able to higher with the right level of experience. Having recently expanded, they are now looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer with immediate effect. Hours of work are 8am- 5pm. A more detailed job description can be provided on application, but please find some details below: Duties: * Preparing electrical schematics as well as GA layout drawings. * Involved from taking initial quote, pricing up role and seeing through to completion. * Prepare bill of materials for client and enter on to ERP system * Convert line diagrams and written requirements in to a quote for the customer. * Liaise with different departments internally, including Shopfloor, Projects, Finance whilst also keeping the customer up to date. Requirements/Experience: * Knowledge of LV design, changeover control schemes, Switchgear & modular steel work systems. * Qualification in Electrical Engineering and solid design experience. * Ability to interact with customer and conversant with Excel/Outlook packages.
