Baker

On behalf of one of our clients based in Old Trafford, Kinetic Recruitment Services are looking to recruit a Baker to cover a period of long-term sickness. We are looking for someone who can go in and "hit the ground running"!! As one of the Bakers you will be working within a large, well known food manufacturing plant where you will baking numerous well known products.! The company have been established for many years and are going from strength to strength. Although this specific Bakers role is temporary / ongoing, it could lead to other opportunities. Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 0700 - 1500 and there will be an early finish on the Friday! The role of Baker is fairly obvious!! It will also include: * Overall responsibility for product testing to ensure product is produced to the correct specification. * Ensuring any re-testing is carried out within the correct time. * Escalating any issues found with product out of specification /or continuing trends to production & Technical Manager. * Releasing product once the product has been deemed suitable for the customer. * Support launch process for Ambient products including trials. * Weighing and measuring ingredients to exact measures * Support definition of QC parameters with development * Support investigations in customer complaints & retrieval of library samples. * Able to read from a recipe and make the product with little to no supervision. As the fully qualified baker you must have: * Experience within a Product Testing Environment (Within Food) * Minimum of 2 years' experience within a food manufacturing environment * Excellent communication skills written and oral. * Attention to detail is a must. * Confidence to work on own with no to little supervision. * Any Food or Baking Certificates would be an advantage. * Able to prioritise. * Team player and able to develop others.
