Trainee Mill Operator

Kinetic Industrial are recruiting for Trainee Mill Operatives for a Birmingham based client. Our client is a global, process driven manufacturing company, and are a world leader in their Industry. To be successful in this position, you must be dedicated to learning operational processes with a view to becoming a fully trained Mill Operative. During training, you will be working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm. Following this you be working a pattern of 12 hour shifts which may include nights and weekends. The role: * Working within a production environment * Working on a training and development programme to gain the necessary skills and expertise * Operating various types of machinery * Working within the stores department * Yard work * General warehousing duties * Engaging in continuous improvement culture * Keeping up with the demands of changing technology and working practices * Assisting with the training and development of your colleagues * Following health and safety procedures and reporting and hazards, incidents or accidents Requirements: * Experience of working in a manufacturing / production environment * Experience of working with chemicals * FLT License * 5 GCSE's or equivalent incl.
