Maintenance Electrician

Our client, a leading manufacturer within their respective industry sector, require an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer working on DAYS Monday to Friday paying 40k per annum. Based in Tameside, this is a permanent electrical position working on days paying £40000 per annum which is inclusive of a callout retainer payment. As a guide, there have been 3 callouts this year so far split between a team of 3. If called out, you are paid minimum 4 hours @ T1/2. There is also a performance related annual bonus. The company in question are going from strength to strength invested heavily in larger premises and equipment and are part of a larger group who have a strong financial base. Details: The Electrician role is on days, working from 8am-4pm Monday to Friday. There is also a callout rota which is worked one week in 3 but is only for essential maintenance issues/breakdowns. Callout time is from Monday to Saturday morning. The salary for the role is £40000 per annum with minimum 4 hours paid at overtime rate (Time x 1.5) if called out. Requirements: To be considered for the role the following experience/skills is required; * Fully Time Served Electrician, ideally with 18th Edition. * Strong manufacturing background. * PLC fault finding experience. * Responsible for maintaining engineering stores & parts & work to continual improvement of the PM system. * Flexible, proactive, able to manage own workloads and work closely with the Mechanical & Engineers on site & also the Production Managers.
